The University of Arizona Library has an active Friends association that supports programs, acquisitions, preservation, and endowments. The Library receives both welcome financial support and energetic involvement from this special constituency. Join UA archaeologist and entertainer, David Soren, for a nostalgic evening saluting the great entertainers of vaudeville--from its origins in the minstrel show, on Mississippi riverboats and Irish clogging, to the Palace Theater in New York City, the great vaudeville circuits and the movies. Wine and hors d’ oeuvres. RSVP required.
