A presentation by award-winning author, Tom Miller. He will speak about his newly released book and his guests will speak about their own experience with the English language. No fee or registration is required. Books will be on sale at the event by the UA Bookstore. A Spanish edition of the book, “COMO APRENDÍ INGLÉS” will also be available.

“The Apache Diaries” is a journey into an untold chapter of the Apache people and into the heart of the Mexico’s Sierra Madre Mountains. Neil Goodwin will present the dialogue between diaries written fifty years apart by a father and his son. Take part in the untold secrets and mysteries that surround a hidden band of Apaches who were the last of their kind. All are welcome. "A Day to Remember and Write" ~ A Memoir Workshop by Dr. Kathy Cowan

The Friends of the University of Arizona Libraries present the 4th Annual Memoir Workshop by Kathy Cowan, Ph.D. at the University of Arizona Main Library in Special Collections. Join Dr. Cowan to discuss the memoir, practice writing short accounts of your life, and get a feel for the effect of your writing on other memoir writers. Participants should bring an artifact, picture or letter from your childhood.

The Friends Book Sale is back! Be there to view excellent deals on thousands of books. We anticipate over 15,000 books
ranging from subjects in art and architecture, Judaica, cookery, history, gardening, science, literature, foreign language and at least 50 other subjects -no holdovers from last year!
