The Advanced Resource Technology Group (ART) was formed in 1988 to provide leadership in such areas as GIS institutional development, GIS environmental  database design and development, application of cartographic and spatial analysis for agriculture, natural resources, and rural development.  The ART research and teaching labs have a variety of equipment and software available to College of Agriculture faculty and grad students.

The Arizona Regional Image Archive is an interdisciplinary resource system for digital image and map data for the Sonoran desert region, including the US Southwest and northern Mexico. It provides internet courseware modules utilizing the resources of the Center and outreach to state and county agencies in the region to provide access to data for the Sonoran desert region.  Service is limited to graduate students in advanced ECE, OPT SCI, ARL and other courses.

UA and ASU Launch Free Economic Data Resource- The University of Arizona's Eller College of Management and Arizona State University's W.P. Carey School of Business are collaborating to offer online access to 37 years' worth of Arizona economic data.
