Finding Articles in the Library
FIND JOURNAL ARTICLES ONCE YOU HAVE A CITATION (IF THE ARTICLE IS NOT FULL-TEXT)
Make sure you have the following information: Journal Title, Date of Publication and Volume, Issue and Page number.

Find a Call Number Location Guide (CNLG) to identify which library and on what floor you will find the journal

You will need to search the library's catalog to find out if the library owns the journal.

| 2. | Go to the library location that has your journal | 2. | If the library owns the journal, you will find a catalog record. |

Look at the publication date of your article

3. | Look at the year of the article you need. - |
| 4. | Find the line on the catalog record "Library Has" it will indicate the first year of library ownership and if there is a hyphen (-) after the year (e.g. 1972-) it means the library is still receiving that title. | ||
| 5. | Find the line labeled "CALL NUMBER" and copy this number down. | ||

You can't find the journal on the shelf

6. | Click on the "Call number Location" button (top right side) and match the first letter in your call number with the building and floor on the list. |
