International Medieval Bibliography Database Searching Tips
IMB covers the period of 450-1450 in Europe, North Africa, Armenia and the Muslim World; it indexes periodicals, conference proceedings, essay collections and festschriften.
The Library does not have all the journals indexed by this database.
You must look in the Library's catalog and search by journal title to see if we own the journals and then get their call numbers to find them.

to see the citation:
Initially, all the citations will be checked. There is no way to un-check them all at once. If you retrieve too many citations, consider refining your search by adding other terms or limiting by time or place.
Exporting is possible to the screen or to a floppy disc. You can export results of searches for your own use. This may be done in two ways:
"Export" provides a download in *.csv (comma-separated value) format, whereby the selected records are separated by commas into distinct fields. This download format is therefore appropriate for use in most proprietary databases such as Excel or Access.
"Export as HTML" provides a download in html format which can then be used in word-processing software, and can be saved in *.rtf or *.doc formats, for instance.
Printing: To print a full citation, you must pull up the full citation, then click your browser's File > Print commands.
