Arizona State Museum Library
The ASM Library is a non-circulating research facility specializing in the archaeology and anthropology of the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. Because the Library's collection development policy supports the mission of the Museum, the collections are particularly rich in resources on southwestern indigenous cultures.

Arizona State Historical Society
The AHS Library/Archives actively collects manuscripts, photographs, oral histories, books and other materials that help document the history of Arizona, the West and Northern Mexico. The collections are available for research and are non-circulating.

Go to the Research Room to find ARC, the online catalog.  Search for archives including digital images.

Smithsonian Institution. Bureau of American Ethnology. List of publications of the Bureau of American Ethnology: with index to authors and titles.    This Index covers a number of sources: Annual Reports (see above online full text), Bulletins, E51 .U6 in Main Library; Publications of the Institute of Social Anthroplogy, Contributions to North American Ethnology, E71 .C76 Main Library; Introductions, and Miscellaneous Publications.  There is also a print copy in Main Reference: E51 .U6 no.200. Many of these can be found in full text on line through Google Books using the author's name and a few words from the title.

Bureau of American Ethnology. Annual report of the Bureau of American Ethnology: to the Secretary of the Smithsonian InstitutionGallica, la bibliotheque numerique, Bibliotheque nationale de France.  Instructions:  Open the web site.  Select Découverte. Scroll down the page to Des listes spécifiques donnent accès.  Click on aux périodiques numérisés.  This opens a page with a subject list on the left.  Scroll down to Ethnologie et anthropologie and open the list. The first title on the list is the Annual Reports.

Native American Water Rights Project
This site has full text documents concerning American Indians water rights in Arizona. The tribes covered include Navajo, Pima/Maricopa, and western Apache.

The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center developed and maintains a web site, Native Health Databases, which covers historic information from information dating from 1652 to approximately 1966 in the Native Health History Database and information from 1966 to the present in the Native Health Research Database. In addition to the two data bases the site includes links to many useful organizations and statistical resources.

American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Diabetes
A division of NIH, the National Diabetes Information Clearhouse provides excellent information for American Indian and Alaska Natives about one of the most serious health threats facing them today.
