Media Viewing


Media Streaming for Courses

Faculty members can now request DVD and VHS material to be streamed online for their courses! Please see our Frequently Asked Questions about Video Streaming.

Viewing VHS

The Main Library has two stations available for viewing VHS tapes. Headphones are provided. These are located by the Media and Children's Literature sections on 2B and are first-come, first-served.

The Fine Arts Library also has two stations available for viewing VHS tapes. Headphones are provided. These are located in the viewing/listening area and are first-come, first-served.

Viewing DVDs

There are no longer any free standing DVD players available at the Main Library, but DVDs may be viewed on any of our computers. Computers are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You may also view DVDs on one of our laptops available for check-out.

Headphones may be purchased at the Express Document Center on the first floor of the Main Library.

At the Fine Arts Library, there is one DVD player for viewing DVDs; it is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Viewing Other Formats

The Main Library has one media viewing room available for the viewing of special format media, Room B232. You can gain access to this room by inquiring at the Information Desk located in the 2nd floor lobby. It is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Equipment in this room includes:
